New Spring Line Coming Soon!

Updated: 4 days ago

Embracing the new "Casual Culture"

Is anybody as over winter as we are?? Can spring just come already, so that we can launch our brand new luxury spring line?

I guess we can give you a little sneak peak at what we're working on ;) What do you say? Would you like to see what our new spring line is all about?

Yes? Then please read on.

No? Stop lying, of course you would!

Athleisure and casualization are strong trends that have been with us for a while now, and thanks to Covid-19 it looks like it's here to stay. I don't think anybody reading this, including me, will be complaining about that. We are finally living in a time when comfy means trendy, so we have decided to fully embrace the casual culture for our new spring line. Our new line is inspired by working from home, curling up with a lovely book by the window, short and sweet coffee dates with friends, and that slowed down feeling you get when chilling on the beach and not thinking of anything in particular. This line is designed with a slower lifestyle in mind. If there is one thing Lockdown has taught us, it's to slow down and enjoy the little things.

There is a new style that's been coined thanks to Covid-19 and not having anybody to dress up for except your cat and zoom. That new style is called slobby-chic. Slobby-chic is exactly what you think it is. It's like your pyjamas, but you can wear it outside. It's a style that consists of loosely fitted clothes that's comfortable and easy to move in, which brings us to some of the pieces that we were inspired by:

We love the fit of these shirts. They are loose with out being baggy, and the fact that they are crop makes them very stylish. They look comfy and cool, which is perfect for our hot South African springs and summers.

We just love a good skirt! This season we'll be focusing on the mini skirt. Mini skirts were created with freedom of movement in mind, and nothing says comfort like having the freedom to move

"I like my skirts short, because I wanted to run and catch the bus to get to work." ~ Mary Quant (the creator of the mini skirt)

We also love the idea of wearing sneakers with a dress, and nothing says luxury and comfort like a beautiful linen fabric. So, we'll definitely be keeping that in mind while designing the dresses for this new spring line.

That's all I have for you today.

I hope you like what we have for you so far and that you are excited about updating your lockdown look from slobby to slobby-chic ;)
